…and trying not to catch covid…

I can't quite believe I've made it to the end of it in one piece ... SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF MY WEDDING INDUSTRY FRIENDS .... WE DID IT !!!!

I've driven all over the country, been in fields and churches and tipis, by lakes and rivers, in cities, stately homes, and gardens but still not up a tree. Disappointing! I've driven 1000s of miles (which was especially fun when we had the petrol panic buying !!) I FINALLY I've got to see over 35 couples say 'I do'. Some of them I have been chatting to since early 2019, and we lived this whole thing together. Postponements, travel bans, the endless unknown and replanning ...so getting to the actual wedding day was extra special.

Trying to sum up the whole year seems impossible. There's been so many magical moments, but it's also been really tough. The fear of catching Covid, especially when you are around 100s people every week. Getting 'pinged' and then potentially not being able to shoot your next 6/8 weddings was BLOODY TERRIFYING. I knew my crew of photographers were amazing, but this year everyone has STEPPED up hugely to help each other. So incredibly lucky to be part of such a huge and supportive network of wicked humans.

All the uncertainty aside it was SO GOOD to get back to doing what I love and sharing in these magical days. It's crazy looking back through all the weddings, I find it incredible that I get to share in SO many of these life changing days.

Above all thank you so much to all my amazing couples who have all been incredible throughout this whole bonkers time !!

I've been chatting to these legends since 2019. Eliza and Seamus had to move thier wedding mulitple times. We were all set for July and then 2 days before the wedding Seamus got Covid ... NIGHTMARE !! After the final move to October we just had the most brilliant day....

Every one of our wedding guests were so impressed with her its all I have heard for the last three days (please read in an irish accent)
“That wee girl with the cameras was fantastic. Unbelievable she was, unbelievable” “Aye, sure I couldn’t believe it, I thought yous known her as a friend like the way she was with the family its like she knew exactly how they wanted to have their picture taken” one member of the family who is notoriously tight with money told us that no matter how much we paid Holly it wasnt enough and she was worth a million. I think both me and the husband agree!!!!

Cannot speak highly enough of Holly she is AMAZINNGGGG! Honestly if you hire someone else to shoot your wedding the photos will only be half as good than if you get Holly to do your pictures! Seriously this woman is beyond incredible!!!!"
