New Forest Winter Wedding
A New Forest winter wedding was the perfect start to 2017.
Tor and Seb got married in beautiful Brockenhurst in the heart of the New Forest, and also Tor’s childhood village.
This was a high pressure one for me. The father of the bride, Steve, used to be my boss! He gave me my first ever photography job after I finished university. (seems like yesterday but nearly 2 decades have passed !!)
Tor, Steve’s daughter, I met when she was about 7, we used to shoot packaging for toys and she would regularly feature. Now all grown up, she met her soul mate Seb and I had the honour of being asked to share in their day.
Full of love and smiles and LOTS of confetti. They married in Brockenhurst Church, a beautiful grand building. A wonderful service with a lively vicar, accompanied by the choir from Walhampton School, where Tor and Seb both work. The kids love for them was clear and some of them were really emotional watching them get married. It was a really special part of the day!
The reception was at The Balmer Lawn Hotel. A beautiful backdrop for the party that followed. Moving and VERY funny speeches and some quite legendary dancing at the end of the night.
What a wonderful New Forest wedding to start the year off with. Thank you Tor and Seb and wishing you a life of happiness and smiles.
